Members wear robes at group meetings, based on their rank The Order
the Silver Moon are a group of hermetic mages with a number of wealthy
members. The Order is very much considered a 'gentleman's' club, though
woman are welcomed as members.
The group, which meets in a large lodge in the Tacoma area of Seattle
once monthly, organises a number of charity events for the homeless and
poverty stricken. They have sponsored hospitals and care-homes, 'green'
policlubs, and the Metahuman Rights Activities in the past and continue
to hold charity balls where the brightest stars of the City's high life
can be found.
The Order of the Silver Moon has a strict ranking system, based on the
phases of the Moon, and members are expected to obey those in a high phase.
>>>>>[Something dark takes place in that lodge. The order is very secretive
about their membership and you have to attain quite a high 'phase' before
you learn about the true goals of the group. I've been watching the Order
for four years and have little information about the activities - other
than the 'Charity Worker' cover. Hell - that didn't work for the UB's...]<<<<<

Despite the name, the Brotherhood of Occultists, is a group of hermetic
mages and adepts who use their powers to improve the image of the Occult
in modern society.
There are a number of Paranormal Private Investigators amongst them;
recording and solving paranormal-related crimes and the like. The Brother
maintains good relationships with Lone Star and other security services,
and are sometimes hired by them to solve more obscure incidents.
The Brotherhood has a large house in Downtown Seattle.
>>>>>[Before anyone asks, these guys are above board. They have been
fully investigated by Lone Star and come up clean. No secrets here.]<<<<<

The Jellicule Cats (I kid you not!)
Type: Initiatory
Members: 6
Limitations: Cat shamans
Strictures: Attendance
Resources/Dues: Squatter/none
Patrons: none
The JC's are a loose group of cat shaman's that have no particular place
but seem to enjoy the environs of the Puyullap Barrens. Meeting take place
when they can be bothered and there don't seem to be any strictures. The
group has no resources and doesn't seem to have an agenda. In fact - I'm
not even sure they should be considered a Magical Group...
Anyway (for anyone still interested), the group which takes it's name
from an old book of poems about cats all have really weird names. In fact,
as I heard it, a new member is given a name when they join. Here are some
that I have heard...
-Old Gumbie Cat
-The Rum Tum Tugger
-Mr Mistoffelees
-Macavity
>>>>>[As to the groups intentions - I don't know. If anyone has ideas,
then please post]<<<<<

>>>>>[Make that 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.' You're wormier
than you may know, but you were close. Y'know, that old book was more
influential last century than most people today realise. There was even
an >incredibly< popular and long-running Broadway show based on it! Why
do I have the feeling that some of these modern cat fanciers have found
a way to use it as a "practical" grimoire?]<<<<<
