Objective: Secure multi-million dollar security contract
for "Playland By the Sea"
Opposition: Lazarus Group and Lock-Down Security Services
Operational Details: Special Executive (SE) efforts were
divided into three areas; neutralising the two rival bids and compromising
the Tower of Darkness (ToD) board set up to judge the bids. A series
of assassinations directed at personnel quickly disabled the Lazarus
bid forcing them to withdraw. A number of high-profile security
breaches at facilities protected by Lock-Down timed to coincide
with the panel's discussion undermined their credibility. The ToD
board was research and three of the five members were targeted for
subversion through bribery and blackmail.
Result: Arasaka Security Services obtained contract.

Objective: Supply sabotaged weapons to Australian EcoTerrorist
Group
Opposition: Various Night City arms dealers
Operational Details: Special Executive (SE) were tipped off
by their counterpart in Arasaka Australia of the arrival in Night
City of representatives of an ecoterrorist group who had struck
against several facilities protected by Arasaka. The terrorists
were intending to purchase weapons and explosives and it was decided
to ensure they purchased sabotaged weapons. The scenario was complicated
by the arrival of a unit of Petrochem's elite Water Leopard death-squad
with orders to terminate terrorists.
Result: Water Leopard unit intercepted and eliminated. Terrorist
representatives returned to Australia with sabotaged weapons.

Objective: Verify existence of Raven MicroCyb Advanced Infantry
Armour (AIA) and obtain technology Opposition: Raven MicroCyb Security
Personnel
Operational Details: Special Executive (SE) mounted a series
of discreet data-gathering missions to confirm existence of AIA,
how near completion it was and to gauge the level of security protection
the project. Once the boards of directors were convinced that the
project could be obtained without incriminating Arasaka a two-pronged
assault was launched to obtain all relevant technical data and acquire
or destroy Raven's prototypes.
Result: Raven MicroCyb's release of AIA projected to have
been delayed to late 2023, Arasaka will have a rival product commercially
available April 2023.

Objective: Recruit programmer "Pixie"
Opposition: ZetaTech Security Personnel
Operational Details: Edo received orders directly from Kei
Arasaka to recruit noted European net-runner and programmer Pixie
while she was in Night City giving lectures to ZetaTech creative
staff. While ZetaTech security protocols proved easy to circumvent
Pixie herself proved an unexpected complication by going AWOL halfway
through her three-day visit to Night City. A dragnet was thrown
over Night City and the programmer tracked down and "snatched" from
a rave-club in South Night City.
Result: Programmer recruited and handed over to Kei Arasaka's
personal operatives.

Objective: Confirm existences of DNA masking technology and
obtain for Arasaka.
Opposition: StormTech Inc., numerous gangs
Operational Details: Arasaka personnel had obtained circumstantial
evidence suggesting the existence of a practical DNA masking technology.
SE was given the task of confirming the existence of this technique
and obtaining its secrets. A major operation ensued involving smaller
operations in Night City, Chicago, The Chicago Port Facility, Washington
DC and finally an assault on s StormTech research facility in the
arctic.
Result: Technology obtained from StormTech though not exclusively
as StormTech has back-up files. No indication that StormTech are
aware of Arasaka's involvement in the theft.

deal

Objective: Release specialist on OTEC operations Casey Barrons
from Chilean prison and into Arasaka custody.
Opposition: Chilean government and prison staff, local "edgerunners"
hired by unknown party (suspected OTEC and/or Militech).
Operational Details: Tokugowa (accompanied by Bane and Ms.Kobu)
travelled to Chile to make overtures to the Minister for the Interior
to turn Barrons over to Arasaka custody on the pretext that she
was associated with terrorists who were targeting an Arasaka client.
A second, covert unit entered the country at this time in case this
failed. Though the minister agreed to this request Tokugowa was
dissatisfied with the delay in the hand-over. Fearing that OTEC/Militech
would attempt to assassinate Barrons before her release the covert
unit was ordered to retrieve her and remove her from the country.
Result: Barrons is now safely installed in the Night City
office of Arasaka where her expertise is being employed in the CINO/OTEC
conflict. The Night City and Santiago offices are working to deflect
any accusations of Arasaka's involvement in her escape.

Objective: (A) Identify and neutralise all OTEC spies in
CINO's North American facilities. (B) Neutralise all independent
intelligence brokers (i.e. "Fixers") selling information about CINO's
North American operations.
Opposition: (A) OTEC intelligence personnel (possibly assisted
by unmarked Militech operatives. (B) The Yakuza, the Russian Mafia
and various fixers and their security personnel
Operational Details: (A) A "run" against the heavily protected
computer system at OTEC's San Diego offices provided a list of 90%
of OTEC spies in CINO. However the top operatives were identified
only by code-names. The OTEC intelligence specialists designated
to "handle" these operatives were identified and snatched. Under
interrogation they provided the true identities of these spies.
(B) Enquires by Arasaka's own fixer provided a list of Fixers selling
information on CINO on a regular basis. In the case of large, well-established
groups, deals were struck to insure that they sold no more information
till the OTEC/CINO situation was resolved. Smaller, independent
fixers were terminated.
Result: Both objectives completed within one week. Periodic
sweeps will be carried out to prevent OTEC re-establishing its intelligence
resources.
