I started role playing at school by joining Nick and Darrell's group.
A mistake? I'll never know. Nick and I soon started role playing on a
Saturday, and worked our way through AD&D, Judge Dredd (now whatever
happened to that...?), and Golden Heroes, only stopping to guess the plot
of Airwolf on the TV. We met Edd at school and played a secretive game
of MERPS in the library; using my calculator instead of dice because of
the noise. Darrell and Edd joined us on a Saturday and the meetings starting
becoming very regular.
One day in the Sixth Form, whilst playing a game of AD&D a young lady
called Traycie, walked over and expressed an interest in what I was doing.
I did the only thing I could, invite her to join the group, marry her
and have three children!
The group decided to become an official RPGA club and the name Mage Blade
was born. We've been playing ever since, with friends coming and going.
I enjoy using the Internet and can be found sometimes lurking on rec.games.frp.cyber
or uk.games.roleplay. At home I'm learning to play the guitar; it's
a slow process, but I'm sticking with it. I was born the day Jimi
Hendrix died and am left-handed, perhaps it's fate... <grin>
Currently I'm spending far too much time playing Vietcong (as -={ESF}=-Delta)
